EFFECT OF LEGISLATION If any law now existing or hereinafter enacted or any proclamation, regulation, or edict of any state or national agency shall invalidate any portion of this Agreement, the entire Agreement shall not be invalidated and either party hereto upon notice to the other party may reopen for negotiations the invalidated portion. If agreement herein cannot be reached within thirty (30) days, either party may submit the matter to mediation.
PRECEDENCE OF LEGISLATION 13.1 In the event that any law passed by Parliament applying to employees of the Council covered by this Agreement, renders null and void any provision of this Agreement, the remaining provisions of the Agreement shall remain in effect for the term of the Agreement.
Compliance with Legislation The Partner in all his dealings and in carrying on its business has complied with all applicable laws including The Regulations and all applicable Taxes Acts and environmental and planning legislation and qualifies in all respects with the terms of participation as prescribed in The Regulations.
Application of Laws and Regulations (1) The laws and regulations of one Contracting Party relating to the admission to, departure from or operation and navigation in its territory of aircraft engaged in the international operation shall be applicable to the aircraft of the designated airline of the other Contracting Party, while entering, departing from or operating and navigating in the territory of the first Contracting Party.
Impact of Legislation (a) The parties recognize and agree that they cannot be obligated or bound by any term, condition or provision, which would be contrary to any existing federal or provincial legislation or regulations passed pursuant thereto. In the event that any term, condition or provision, or part thereof, which is incorporated into this Agreement, whether by inadvertence, error or misunderstanding, is in fact or in law contrary to such federal or provincial legislation or regulation, then such term, condition or provision or part thereof, is void and of no effect.
Data Protection Legislation the UK Data Protection Legislation and any other European Union legislation relating to personal data and all other legislation and regulatory requirements in force from time to time which apply to a party relating to the use of Personal Data (including, without limitation, the privacy of electronic communications) and the guidance and codes of practice issued by the Information Commissioner or relevant government department in relation to such legislation.
Policy Provisions All insurance maintained by the Mortgagor pursuant to Section 2.1.1 shall (a) (except for worker's compensation insurance) list the Mortgagor and the Mortgagee, as additional insureds as their respective interests may appear, (b) (except for worker's compensation and public liability insurance) provide that the proceeds for any losses shall be adjusted by the Mortgagor subject to the approval of the Mortgagee in the event the proceeds shall exceed $1,000,000, and shall be payable to the Mortgagee, to be held and applied as provided in Section 2.3, (c) include effective waivers by the insurer of all rights of subrogation against any named insured, the indebtedness secured by this Mortgage and the Property and all claims for insurance premiums against the Mortgagee, (d) provide that any losses shall be payable notwithstanding (i) any act, failure to act or negligence of or violation of warranties, declarations or conditions contained in such policy by any named insured, (ii) the occupation or use of the Property for purposes more hazardous than permitted by the terms thereof, (iii) any foreclosure or other action or proceeding taken by the Mortgagee pursuant to any provision of this Mortgage, or (iv) any change in title or ownership of the Property, (e) provide that no cancellation, reduction in amount or material change in coverage thereof or any portion thereof shall be effective until at least thirty (30) days after receipt by the Mortgagee of written notice thereof, (f) provide that any notice under such policies shall be simultaneously delivered to the Mortgagee, and (g) be satisfactory in all other reasonable respects to the Mortgagee. Any insurance maintained pursuant to this Section 2.1 may be evidenced by blanket insurance policies covering the Property and other properties or assets of the Mortgagor, provided that any such policy shall specify the portion, if less than all, of the total coverage of such policy that is allocated to the Property and shall in all other respects comply with the requirements of this Section 2.1.
Policies, Guidelines, Directives and Standards Either the LHIN or the MOHLTC will give the HSP Notice of any amendments to the manuals, guidelines or policies identified in Schedule C. An amendment will be effective in accordance with the terms of the amendment. By signing a copy of this Agreement the HSP acknowledges that it has a copy of the documents identified in Schedule C.

COMPLIANCE WITH WORKERS' COMPENSATION ACT Contractor shall comply with the provisions of the Montana Workers' Compensation Act while performing work for the Department of Montana in accordance with 00-00-000, 00-00-000, and 00-00-000, MCA. Proof of compliance must be in the form of workers' compensation insurance, an independent contractor's exemption, or documentation of corporate officer status. Neither Contractor nor its employees are Department employees. This insurance/exemption must be valid for the entire contract term and any renewal. Upon expiration, a renewal document must be sent to the Department’s Contracts Management Bureau, X.X. Xxx 000000, Xxxxxx, XX 00000.
