Psychiatric Treatment Benefit. This Benefit shall be payable for the expenses charged on psychiatric treatments (excluding Alzheimer’s disease, Senile Dementia, Parkinson’s disease or any conditions caused by or related to drug abuse or alcoholism) during the Member's Hospital Confinement. This Benefit shall be payable in lieu of other Benefits under Clauses 1 to 11 of this Section A. For the avoidance of doubt, where a Hospital Confinement is not solely for the purpose of psychiatric treatments, this Benefit shall only be payable for the eligible medical expenses charged on the medical services related to psychiatric treatments. Where the expenses involve both psychiatric and non-psychiatric treatments and apportionment of the expenses is not available, the eligible medical expenses in entirety shall be payable under this Psychiatric Treatment Benefit if the Hospital Confinement is initially for the purpose of psychiatric treatments. If the Hospital Confinement initially is not for the purpose of psychiatric treatments, the expenses in entirety shall be payable under Clauses 1 to 11 of Section A above.

  • Public Benefit It is Reaction Retail’s understanding that the commitments it has agreed to herein, and actions to be taken by Reaction Retail under this Settlement Agreement, would confer a significant benefit to the general public, as set forth in Code of Civil Procedure § 1021.5 and Cal. Admin. Code tit. 11, § 3201. As such, it is the intent of Reaction Retail that to the extent any other private party initiates an action alleging a violation of Proposition 65 with respect to Reaction Retail’s failure to provide a warning concerning exposure to DEHP prior to use of the Products it has manufactured, distributed, sold, or offered for sale in California, or will manufacture, distribute, sell, or offer for sale in California, such private party action would not confer a significant benefit on the general public as to those Products addressed in this Settlement Agreement, provided that Reaction Retail is in material compliance with this Settlement Agreement.

  • Emergency Medical Treatment I grant the Releasees permission to authorize emergency medical treatment as they deem appropriate, and agree that such action by the Releasees shall be subject to the terms of this Agreement. I understand and agree that the Releasees assume no responsibility for any injury or damage that might result from such emergency medical treatment.

  • Inpatient If you are an inpatient in a general or specialty hospital for mental health services, this agreement covers medically necessary hospital services and the services of an attending physician for the number of hospital days shown in the Summary of Medical Benefits. See Section

  • Medical Treatment Undersigned understands that the Released Parties do not have medical personnel available at the location of the activities. Undersigned hereby grants the Released Parties permission to administer first aid or to authorize emergency medical treatment, if necessary. Undersigned understands and agrees that any such action by the Released Parties shall be subject to the terms of this agreement and release, including any liability arising from the negligence of the Released Parties when administering first aid or authorizing others to do so. Undersigned understands and agrees that the Released Parties do not assume responsibility for any injury or damage which might arise out of or in connection with such authorized emergency medical treatment.

  • TREATMENT OF FRINGE BENEFITS The fringe benefits are charged using the rate(s) listed in the Fringe Benefits Section of this Agreement. The fringe benefits included in the rate(s) are listed below. Vacation, holiday, sick leave pay and other paid absences are included in salaries and wages and are claimed on grants, contracts and other agreements as part of the normal cost for salaries and wages. Separate claims are not made for the cost of these paid absences.

  • Specific Benefits Without limiting the generality of Section 3.3, the Executive shall be entitled to paid vacation of not less than the greater of (a) 20 business days per year or (b) the number of paid business vacation days provided to other senior executives of the Company (to be taken at reasonable times in accordance with the Company’s policies). Any accrued vacation not taken during any year may be carried forward to subsequent years; provided, that the Executive may not carry forward more than ten business days of unused vacation in any one year.

  • Extended Health Benefits The extended health benefits coverage for CUPE and Fire will be amended to include:

  • Radiation Therapy/Chemotherapy Services This plan covers chemotherapy and radiation services. This plan covers respiratory therapy services. When respiratory services are provided in your home, as part of a home care program, durable medical equipment, supplies, and oxygen are covered as a durable medical equipment service.

  • Compensation/Benefit Programs During the Term of Employment, the Executive shall be entitled to participate in all medical, dental, hospitalization, accidental death and dismemberment, disability, travel and life insurance plans, and any and all other plans as are presently and hereinafter offered by the Company to its executive personnel, including savings, pension, profit-sharing and deferred compensation plans, subject to the general eligibility and participation provisions set forth in such plans.
