The importance of engaging both publics and stakeholders with energy system change is now recognised as an explicit policy goal38, especially in cases where policy challenges do not have a single solution and affect the majority of the population. Cutting across most economic sectors and government departments, achieving transformational change in the challenging areas will be complex. Evidence regarding public acceptability will be essential before firm policy recommendations can be made. Project 1.1 explores the multiple social understandings, visions and trade-offs for low-carbon, climate-resilient transformations for the UK using a whole-system lens. We will develop and apply deliberative participatory and visioning methods39 to explore public perceptions of transformational change, both at the systems-level and in each of the four challenging areas.   • IRO Engagement 1. CHSI shall engage an IRO that possesses the qualifications set forth in Paragraph B, below, to perform the responsibilities in Paragraph C, below. The IRO shall conduct the review in a professionally independent and objective fashion, as set forth in Paragraph D. Within 30 days after OIG receives the information identified in Section V.A.12 of the CIA or any additional information submitted by CHSI in response to a request by OIG, whichever is later, OIG will notify CHSI if the IRO is unacceptable. Absent notification from OIG that the IRO is unacceptable, CHSI may continue to engage the IRO.

  • Community Engagement Integration Activities The SP will support the HSP to engage the community of diverse persons and entities in the area where it provides health services when setting priorities for the delivery of health services and when developing plans for submission to the LHIN including but not limited to CAPS and integration proposals.

  • Minimum Engagement Any employee including casuals instructed to report to work, including Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, and work ceases due to any reason, or not required to start after reporting to the site or depot, will be paid a minimum of four hours

  • Community Engagement The HSP will engage the community of diverse persons and entities in the area where it provides health services when setting priorities for the delivery of health services and when developing plans for submission to the LHIN including but not limited to CAPS and integration proposals. As part of its community engagement activities, the HSPs will have in place and utilize effective mechanisms for engaging families, caregivers, clients, residents, patients and other individuals who use the services of the HSP, to help inform the HSP plans, including the HSP’s contribution to the establishment and implementation by the LHIN of geographic sub-regions in its local health system.

  • Public Outreach The Sponsor is responsible for development and administration of a public outreach effort to ensure public awareness and involvement in the Project development and delivery process. The Sponsor shall provide a copy of the public outreach plan and all materials documenting the public outreach activities, including public notices, press releases, flyers, etc. to the Authority. The public outreach plan must accompany the first invoice for payment from Sponsor. The materials documenting the public outreach activities must accompany the final invoice for payment from Sponsor.

  • Labor/Management Relations Section 9.1 Representatives of the Union, not to exceed five (5) in number including at least one (1) representative of each shift, and representatives of the Employer, shall meet at least quarterly at mutually agreed upon times for up to two (2) hours to discuss matters of mutual concern relating to the interpretation, application, or administration of this Agreement and existing work rules which affect the members of the bargaining unit. Each party shall prepare and submit an agenda to the other party one (1) week prior to the scheduled meeting.

  • EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT a) All employees shall be initially engaged upon a three month probationary period. Either party may terminate this probationary period with one week’s notice.

  • Engagement The Company hereby engages the Consultant, and the Consultant accepts engagement by the Company, upon the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement.
