PUBLIC HEARINGS AND INTER. AGENCY CONSULTATION During preparation of the IS/MND, our team will consult with agencies that have regulatory or approval responsibility for future projects proposed in the master plan, including California Department of Fish and Wildlife, Tahoe Regional Planning Agency, and Lahontan Regional Water Quality Control Board. The purpose of this consultation will be to verify permitting and approvals necessary for future projects and ensure that the programmatic environmental document includes information necessary to streamline future project approvals. Upon completion of the final IS/MND, our team will attend two public hearings to support adoption of the IS/MND and approval of the project. At these hearings, we will present the environmental analysis, summarize comments received, describe responses to key comments, and answer questions.
