Common use of PUBLICITY, LITERATURE, ADVERTISEMENTS AND SOCIAL MEDIA Clause in Contracts

PUBLICITY, LITERATURE, ADVERTISEMENTS AND SOCIAL MEDIA. 12 COUNTY owns all rights to the name, logos, and symbols of COUNTY. The use 13 and/or reproduction of COUNTY's name, logos, or symbols for any purpose, including 14 commercial advertisement, promotional purposes, announcements, displays, or press releases, 15 without COUNTY's prior written consent is expressly prohibited. 16 CONTRACTOR may develop and publish information related to this Agreement 17 where all of the following conditions are satisfied: 18 36.2.1 ADMINISTRATOR provides its written approval of the content and 19 publication of the information at least thirty (30) days prior to CONTRACTOR publishing the 20 information, unless a different timeframe for approval is agreed upon by the ADMINISTRATOR; 21 36.2.2 Unless directed otherwise by ADMINISTRATOR, the information includes 22 a statement that the program, wholly or in part, is funded through County and State funds; 23 36.2.3 The information does not give the appearance that the COUNTY, its 24 officers, employees, or agencies endorse: 25 Any commercial product or service; and 26 Any product or service provided by CONTRACTOR, unless 27 approved in writing by ADMINISTRATOR; and 28 36.2.4 If CONTRACTOR uses social media (such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, 1 or other publicly available social media sites) to publish information related to this Agreement, 2 CONTRACTOR shall develop social media policies and procedures and have them available to 3 the ADMINISTRATOR.
