Pupil Supervision. Maintaining orderly conduct, enforcing related laws, rules, and regulations pertaining to student conduct on the school campus during teacher work hours, specific student group supervision assignments on field trips and while engaged in school organization activity programs, some of which may be off the school campus and beyond the normal workday, examples of which are: supervision of dances, athletic events, sponsorship of student groups and public presentations by students.

Pupil Supervision. The normal duties include a reasonable share of extracurricular, co- curricular and supervisory activities, as determined by the principal, superintendent, or School Board. In addition to the basic school day or week, teachers may be required by the School Board to participate in school activities.
Pupil Supervision. Each driver shall be responsible for the supervision of pupils and shall be stationed at or on their bus while loading, transporting and unloading same: which shall include the following: 1. To assign seats, if necessary, to minimize discipline problems and confusion in loading and unloading pupils. 2. To permit children to leave buses only at their regular stop and to permit only those children assigned to the bus to ride same, except upon written request of parents or direction of the school administrator. 3. To observe children leaving the bus until they have safely crossed the highway, or otherwise not subject to traffic hazards. 4. To have children pass in front of bus when necessary for them to cross a highway. 5. To leave a loaded bus only in the case of an emergency when there is no other individual present who can leave.
Pupil Supervision a. The School District delegates to the Contractor the necessary authority to supervise and control students on buses and vans in accordance with School District rules. This includes but is not limited to monitoring student compliance with mask and social distancing requirements. Authorization shall not include corporal punishment, or the right to eject any offender under circumstances other than those which present an immediate danger likely to result in injury. The Contractor will utilize digital video/audio monitoring equipment as a means to supervise bus students and to augment the written student discipline referral. c. No person other than a school pupil shall be transported in a school vehicle except in an emergency or when designated by the Superintendent or designee. Nothing except approved passengers and their belongings shall be transported in the school vehicle while it is engaged in transporting pupils to and from school.

The School Bus Incident Report to Parents form must be completed by the driver and given to the student's building principal with a copy forwarded to the Transportation Office. The Contractor agrees in all respects to abide by the School District's School Bus Policies. The handling of discipline problems as related to transportation will be handled according to the School District's Policy and as interpreted and administered by the School District's Superintendent or Building Principals. If requested the bus driver and/or garage manager will be present along with the pupil to accurately review the information and come to a reasonable solution. b) The Contractor will utilize digital video/audio monitoring equipment as a means to supervise bus students and to augment the written student discipline referral. c) Pupils board onto and discharged from the bus only at the designated stops and at the extreme right of the road or other location as designated by the School District. No pupils will be permitted to get on or off the bus while it is in motion. No school bus operator shall start the bus, or signal the driver of any vehicle who has stopped in compliance with the provision of Section 3208 of the School Laws of Pennsylvania to proceed, until after each child on the vehicle has been safely seated, or when exiting, has reached a place of safety. d) No person other than a school pupil shall be transported in a school vehicle except in an emergency or when designated by the Superintendent or designee. The Contractor can allow the Transportation Director and Driver Trainees on board buses. e) The Contractor will be responsible for all parent communication and handle all calls accordingly.

Related to Pupil Supervision

  • SITE SUPERVISION 1.9.1 Contractor shall provide adequate supervision of his employees to ensure complete and satisfactory performance of all work in accordance with the terms of the contract. Contractor shall have a responsible supervisor on the job at all times when the work of the contract is being carried out. 1.9.2 Contractor's site supervisor shall be responsible for communication with the State's representatives and shall meet with the Project Manager at the site on a weekly basis to discuss project status, including any problems, ideas, or concerns related to the project work. 1.9.3 Contractor and its employees shall be subject to all applicable State and Federal statutes and regulations for the conduct of personnel. 1.9.4 The Contractor shall provide adequate supervision of his/her subcontractors and their employees at all times.

The Contractor certifies that its proposal was made without collusion or fraud; that it has not offered or received any kickbacks or inducements from any other offeror, supplier, manufacturer or subcontractor; and that it has not conferred on any public employee having official responsibility for this procurement any payment, loan, subscription, advance, deposit of money, services or anything of more than nominal value, present or promised, unless consideration of substantially equal or greater value was exchanged.

  • Monitoring and Review The Provider agrees to allow access to the Department for purposes of monitoring and review. This access includes but is not limited to client records, fiscal records, staffing records, policy and procedural manuals, facilities, staff, and children in care of the Department. The Department will conduct quality reviews, which may include site-based quality review visits.
