Common use of Purchase of Materials Clause in Contracts

Purchase of Materials. It is contemplated that all material, equipment and supplies will be owned by the Company and purchased or furnished for its account. So far as is reasonably practical and consistent with efficient, safe and economical operation as determined by the Operator, only such material shall be obtained for the Combined Facilities as may be required for immediate use, and the accumulation of surplus stock shall be avoided. To the extent reasonably possible, the Operator shall take advantage of discounts available by early payments and pass such benefits on to the Company.
