Common use of PURPOSE AND SOURCE OF FUNDS Clause in Contracts

PURPOSE AND SOURCE OF FUNDS. The purpose of this Agreement is to assist the City in financing project expenses that are eligible for federal financial assistance. The Commission will make federal funds available in a manner consistent with the rules of the USDOT, Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Federal Transit Administration (FTA) under requirements of title 23 and chapter 53 of title 49, United States Code.
