PURPOSE OF AGREEMENT AND DEFINITIONS. 1.01 The purpose of this Agreement is in the mutual interest of the Company and the employees to provide for the operation of the services of the Company under methods which will further, to the fullest extent possible, the safety of air transportation, the efficiency and economy of operation, and the continuation of employment under conditions of reasonable hours, compensation and working conditions. It is recognized by this Agreement to be the duty of the Company and the employees to cooperate fully both individually and collectively for the advancement of that purpose.
