Purpose or Objective. The purpose of this section is to set forth the principals by which all radio users in the regional system will establish names for Talk Groups (TG) and to facilitate intuitive understanding of the TG name. The TG naming standard is also essential because, in keeping with the regional interoperability concept, some TG’s will be shared by multiple agencies.
