QASP APPROACH Sample Clauses

QASP APPROACH. 5.1: Purpose. This Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) provides a systematic method to evaluate performance for the stated contract. This QASP explains the following:  What will be monitored  How monitoring will take place  Who will conduct the monitoring  How monitoring efforts and results will be documented This QASP does not detail how the CNA accomplishes the work. Rather, the QASP is created with the premise that the CNA is responsible for management and quality control actions to meet the terms of the agreement. It is the Commission’s responsibility to be objective, fair, and consistent in evaluating performance. This QASP is a “living document” and the Commission may review and revise it on a regular basis. However, the Commission shall coordinate changes with the CNA. Updates shall ensure that the QASP remains a valid, useful, and enforceable document. Copies of the original QASP and revisions shall be provided to the CNA and Commission officials implementing surveillance activities. Various methods exist to monitor performance. The Commission shall use the surveillance methods listed below in the administration of this QASP. It is important to define the distinction between the QCP and the QASP. The CNA is responsible for its QCP and is responsible for management and quality control action necessary to meet the quality standards set forth by this Agreement. The QASP is developed to define the Commission’s surveillance of the CNA’s performance in executing the requirements within the Agreement ensuring the CNA delivers the services and achieves the outcomes expected in this Agreement. The Commission is responsible for implementing this QASP and the CNA is responsible for implementing its QCP to meet the quality levels established in this Agreement.

QASP APPROACH. 5.1: Purpose. This section details the method(s) used to verify CNA compliance with PWS requirements. The key elements of this process are the CNA's QCP and Commission identified Performance Objectives. The Performance Objectives dictate the minimum surveillance requirements the Commission must accomplish. This QASP provides the procedures on how to conduct these evaluations. To fully understand the roles and responsibilities of the Commission and the CNA, it is important to define the distinction between the QCP and the QASP. The CNA is responsible for its QCP and is responsible for management and quality control action necessary to meet the quality standards set forth by this Agreement. The QASP is developed to define the Commission’s surveillance of the CNA’s quality control efforts to ensure the CNA delivers the services and achieves outcomes expected in this Agreement. The Commission is responsible for implementing this QASP and the CNA is responsible for implementing its QCP to meet the quality levels established in this Agreement. Effective CNA surveillance relies on two methods for identification of unacceptable performance – CNA Identified Discrepancies and Commission Identified Discrepancies.
