Common use of Railroad Protective Liability Clause in Contracts

Railroad Protective Liability. If Contractor’s services include work within 50 feet of a railroad right of way, the Contractor shall have removed any exclusion on their liability policy limiting coverage for work near a railroad, or shall provide a Railroad Protective Liability policy in favor of the City. Limits for such coverage shall be no less than $5,000,000.
