Rate on Reinstatement after Separation. Employees who are permissively reinstated by the appointing power after a break in service of three (3) years or less shall be reinstated to the same step and salary range as when separated. Employees who are permissively reinstated by the appointing power after a break in service of more than three (3) years shall be reinstated to the same salary range as when separated.
