Ratification of the Tentative Agreement. The Tentative Agreement must be ratified by the RAN and approved by the Board of Education. Neither party can change any part of the Tentative Agreement without utilizing the negotiations process. RAN will schedule a membership ratification meeting at the earliest reasonable date, prior to the next regular Board of Education meeting. The purpose will be to present and discuss the Tentative Agreement and seek a vote of ratification. Interest-Based Bargaining procedure requires the Tentative Agreement be accepted or rejected in its entirety by the membership; the Agreement cannot be modified during the ratification process.
