Real Estate and Legal Fees. On relocation or within one year of the effective date of relocation, an employee who purchases and/or sells their private dwelling house, will be entitled to claim for the following expenses upon production of receipts: (a) reimbursement of fees to a maximum of $4,500 charged by a real estate agency for the selling of the employee's private dwelling home in which they resided immediately prior to relocation; (b) an employee who has sold their own home without the aid of a Realtor shall be entitled to claim $750; (c) allowance for legal fees encumbered upon the employee because of the purchase of their private dwelling house in which they live after relocation will be paid in accordance with the following: (1) one percent of the first $40,000 of the purchase price; (2) one-half of 1% of any amount of the purchase price above $40,000; (3) the total cost to the Employer under Section (c) shall not exceed $800; (d) where an employee purchases a reasonable amount of property, secures a joint mortgage (land and private dwelling), and begins construction within six months of relocation (i.e., foundation poured), they shall be entitled to reimbursement of legal fees not to exceed the amount specified in (c) above. In these circumstances, the reimbursement shall be for one transaction only;
