Receipt and Processing of a Formal Complaint. Upon receipt of a formal notice of complaint, the Department of Human Resources in conjunction with the Union will determine if alternate resources may be available to address the problem. Such resources may include alternative dispute resolution or mediation. The complaint shall be assigned a case number and receipt of the complaint shall be acknowledged by the Department of Human Resources within five business days of receipt.
