Recognition of Previous Comparable Experience. Previous comparable work experience as evaluated by the Employer shall be recognized at the rate of one (1) step for each year of full-time experience. Where such experience is recognized, teaching assistantships, laboratory experience, and related part-time experience shall be recognized on a proportional basis not to exceed point five (.5) to one (1). Comparable work experience shall be determined by the Employer to a maximum of seven (7) additional steps.
