RECOGNITION OF PREVIOUS SERVICE FOR COMMENCEMENT ON THE SALARY SCALES. The employer shall credit previous service for connected service as defined below for employees as follows: (a) New Zealand Qualified Physiotherapists All service as a physiotherapist Full credit (b) Overseas Qualified Physiotherapists (i) An overseas qualified physiotherapist who meets the requirements of the registration board at the time of entry into New Zealand shall have all service credited from the date of obtaining the overseas qualification. (ii) Where the requirements of the registration board are not met at the time of entry, service will only be counted from the commencement date of employment as a physiotherapist in New Zealand. (c) Physiotherapy Assistants
