RECOGNITION, RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES OF THE ASSOCIATION. 3.1 RECOGNITION & RIGHTS The Board recognizes the Association as the exclusive bargaining agent of the members of the Association. The Association acknowledges that the University possesses exclusive rights and powers to manage the University as provided in the Ryerson University Act, 1977 (amended). The University agrees that it shall exercise these rights and powers in a fair and reasonable manner consistent with the provisions of this collective agreement.
