Recommended Salaries for New Bargaining. Unit Members The department chair (or appropriate administrative officer) shall call a meeting of the appropriate salary committee to discuss initial salaries of prospective members of the bargaining unit. If a quorum of the committee cannot be assembled in a timely fashion, the chair (or appropriate administrative officer) shall consult with those members of the salary committee who are available.
