Recruitment and Election. New members to the Council shall be recruited by public solicitation of applicants. A board committee charged with recruitment will be created and maintained. The committee will identify potential future members that can be immediately contacted when a vacancy occurs. All applicants shall submit a letter of intent, which will be reviewed by all seated GC members. The GC President and one GC member volunteer will meet with the nominee(s) (in person, via telephone, or via video conference) and conduct an interview. The GC President will inform the GC of recommendations. The elected member(s) shall be officially seated at the next general GC meeting.
