Common use of Recurring Authorized Transactions Clause in Contracts

Recurring Authorized Transactions. Recurring authorized transactions are automatic charges to your Account that you establish with a merchant and authorize to occur on a regular basis, usually monthly. You must contact the merchant to stop a recurring charge. If we send you a new Card or Account number, for example, because your prior Card expired or was lost or stolen, it is your sole responsibility to provide merchants with updated Card or Account number information. We are not liable for any fees or other charges you incur because a recurring transaction did not transfer to a new Card or a new Account number. Some merchants are able to automatically access your new Card or Account number, in which case recurring transactions will continue.
