Common use of REFRACTORY Clause in Contracts

REFRACTORY. a) The provisions of this Article shall apply to all new refractory construction, all refractory maintenance and repair projects, and all ongoing plant refractory maintenance (i.e., plant refractory maintenance performed by steady, full-time employees who are part of a work force having assured employment for a minimum of twelve (12) months contracted for by Employers operating regionally and nationally in industrial plants such as, but not limited to, mining facilities, manufacturing plants, power plants, iron and steel production facilities, paper xxxxx, cement plants, breweries, rubber production and tile manufacturing plants, refineries and synthetic fuel manufacturing facilities. Except as specifically set forth in this Article, refractory work shall be done under the same terms and conditions as are set forth in the remainder of this Agreement.
