Refrigerated equipment other than equipment with fixed eutectic. accumulators It shall be verified that the inside temperature of the empty equipment, previously brought to the outside temperature, can be brought to the limit temperature of the class to which the equipment belongs, as prescribed in this annex, and maintained below the said limit temperature for a period t 12ΔT such that t ≥ in which ΔT ' ?T is the difference between + 30 °C and the said limit temperature, and ?T' is the difference between the mean outside temperature during the test and the class limit temperature, the outside temperature being not lower than + 15 °C. If the results are acceptable, the equipment may be kept in service as refrigerated equipment of its initial class for a further period of not more than three years.
