Equipment Cleaning. (a) Areas, known by Forest Service prior to timber sale advertisement, that are infested with invasive species of concern are shown on Sale Area Map. A current list of invasive species of concern and a map showing the extent of known infestations is available at the Forest Supervisor’s Office. For purposes of this provision, “Off-Road Equipment” includes all logging and construction machinery, except for log trucks, chip vans, service vehicles, water trucks, pickup trucks, cars, and similar vehicles.

Equipment Cleaning. District may require mechanized equipment to be cleaned (pressure washed or blown with pressurized air) and inspected before moving into the natural area to reduce the risk of spreading noxious weed seeds. Equipment inspection will be arranged with District’s site inspector and conducted at a location not on the project area that is mutually agreed to by District project manager and Contractor.
Equipment Cleaning. Contractor shall:
A. Clean equipment at regular monthly intervals to maintain a professional appearance, preserve the life of the equipment, and to meet all code requirements.
Equipment Cleaning. In order to prevent the spread of noxious weeds into the Contract Area, Contractor shall be required to clean all off-road logging and construction equipment prior to entry on to the Contract Area. This cleaning shall remove all soil, plant parts, seeds, vegetative matter, or other debris that could contain or hold seeds. Only logging and construction equipment so cleaned and inspected by the Forest Service will be allowed to operate within the Contract Area. All subsequent move-ins of equipment to the Contract Area shall be treated in the same manner as the initial move in. "Off-road equipment" includes all logging and construction machinery, except for log trucks, chip vans, service vehicles, water trucks, pickup trucks, cars, and similar vehicles. Contractor shall employ whatever cleaning methods are necessary to ensure that off-road equipment is free of noxious weeds. Equipment shall be considered free of soil, seed, and other such debris when a visual inspection does not disclose such material. Disassembly of equipment components or specialized inspection tools is not required. Unless otherwise agreed, Contractor shall give the forest service at least 24 hours notice when equipment is ready for inspection. Notification will include an agreed upon location where the equipment will be available for inspection by the forest service. New infestations of noxious weeds, of concern to Forest Service and identified by either Contractor or Forest Service, on the Contract Area or on the haul route, shall be promptly reported to the other party. Contractor and Forest Service shall agree on treatment methods to reduce or stop the spread of noxious weeds when new infestations are found. A current list of noxious weeds of concern to Forest Service is available at each Forest Service office.
Equipment Cleaning. Please clean the equipment after each use with the provided cleanser.

Equipment Cleaning. All machinery or heavy equipment that will be entering the stream bed, channel, and bank shall be cleaned of materials deleterious to aquatic life including oil, lubricants, coolants, hydraulic fluid, soil, and other debris. Cleaning of equipment shall take place outside of the stream bed, channel, and bank.

All snow tractors shall be washed before moving into the project area so that the equipment is free of soil, seeds, vegetative material, or other debris that could contain or hold seeds of noxious weeds. Equipment will be considered clean when visual inspection does not reveal soil, seeds, plant material, or other such debris. Disassembly of equipment components or specialized inspection equipment is not required. CONTRACTOR shall notify the COUNTY at least five days in advance of moving equipment in so that arrangements can be made for inspection.
