Regional Conference of Elected Officers (CRÉ. 128. Subject to section 129, the Regional Government shall, with respect to Category III Lands, exercise all the powers and have all the responsibilities of a CRÉ, as provided for in Québec laws. 129. The CRÉ-BJ shall continue to exist, either as an independent organization or as part of a new Xxxxx Bay entity. It shall have the functions of a CRÉ, save for those related to a CRRNT, exclusively with respect to Jamésiens. Its funding shall not be affected by the sole fact of this Agreement, subject to adjustment to take account of the CRNNT functions transferred to the Regional Government.
Regional Conference of Elected Officers (CRÉ. 25. The Cree Nation Government shall be deemed to be a Regional Conference of Elected Officers (“CRÉ”) for the Crees of Eeyou Istchee and with respect to Category I and II lands.
