Common use of Regional preference Clause in Contracts

Regional preference. 1. Nothing in this Agreement shall oblige a Party to extend to the other Party to this Agreement any more favourable treatment than that applied within each of the Parties as part of its respective regional integration process. 2. Any more favourable treatment or advantage that may be granted under this Agreement by any signatory Central African State to the European Community shall immediately and unconditionally also be enjoyed by each signatory Central African State.
