Vacation Preference. (a) Preference in the selection and allocation of vacation time shall be determined within each work unit on the basis of service seniority. Where an employee chooses to split their vacation, their second choice of vacation time shall be made only after all other employees concerned have made their initial selection.
(b) Regular vacations shall have priority over carried over vacation time during the prime time vacation period.

(b) An employee will be entitled to receive their vacation in an unbroken period. Employees wishing to split their vacation will exercise seniority rights in the employee's first choice of a vacation period. Seniority will prevail in the second vacation period, but only after all other "first choice" vacation periods have been posted. Seniority will also prevail in further choices in the same manner. Regular vacations will have priority over vacation time carried over under the provisions of Clause 18.4 (Vacation Carryover).

Use of vacation accruals is by mutual agreement between the employee and the supervisor and preference of vacation shall be given to employees according to their seniority in their department as reasonably as possible unless otherwise provided in the supplemental sections of this Memorandum of Understanding.

(c) Regular Employees on an approved leave of absence greater than thirty (30) days at the time vacation schedules are circulated will be notified in writing. Within two (2) weeks, the Employee will then advise the Employer in writing of his/her vacation preference for the current calendar year.
Vacation Preference. (a) Preference in the selection and allocation of prime vacation time shall be determined on the basis of service seniority within each work unit subject to the following provisions:
(1) In the stores system, there shall be separate vacation schedules for:
(i) supervisors;
(ii) store clerks.
(2) In the 0000 Xxxx Xxxxxxxx warehouse operation there shall be separate schedules for:
(i) assembly;
(ii) receiving;
(iii) shipping;
(iv) distribution supervisors.
(b) For purposes of this clause the Kamloops Distribution Centre constitutes a separate work unit.
(c) Where an employee chooses to split their prime vacation time, their second vacation period shall be taken only after all other employees concerned have made their initial selection.
(d) Regular vacations shall have preference over vacation carryover during the prime time vacation period.
Vacation Preference. Preference of vacation shall be given to employees according to their seniority in their department as much as is reasonably possible.
Vacation Preference. Vacation preference as indicated on the vacation schedule referred to above shall be in strict order of seniority.
