Common use of Regional Tours Clause in Contracts

Regional Tours. For the purposes of this clause “Regional Tours” means a tour of regional Australia including Canberra and those venues more than 32 kilometres from the CBD of a Capital City. This provision will not apply to those regional tours which have received funding from Playing Australia nor to school tours. Notwithstanding the provisions of clause 22.1, performers engaged on regional tours shall be paid no less than minimum rates prescribed in Table A(2) of Schedule 1.
