Registered Apprentices. Each Individual Employer covered by this Agreement shall pay into the Operating Engineers’ Vacation, Holiday and Sick Pay Trust Fund for Apprentices according to the following schedule: *To be allocated by the Union.
Registered Apprentices. Shall be registered with Local 2085’s Pooled Apprenticeship Agreement (1995) with the Province of Manitoba and be paid in accordance with this Collective Agreement. B.1 The Employer will check with the Union as to the availability of new apprentices entering the industry. B.2 All new apprentices referred by the Union or hired by the Employer will be given a clearance from the Union before going to work. B.3 It is agreed the number of apprentices who may be employed by an Employer in this trade shall not exceed: (i) An Employer who is engaged in, or is carrying on a business of electrical construction and who employs one (1) working Journeyperson or is a working Journeyperson, may employ one (1) apprentice and one (1) additional apprentice for every two (2) additional working Journeypersons employed within the Employer’s regular establishment. (ii) Notwithstanding B.3 (i) above, on a job specific basis, a 1:1 Journeyperson to apprentice ratio can be instituted if mutually agreed to between the parties and such requests will not be unreasonably denied.
Registered Apprentices. The wages, rates of pay, hours of labor and the other conditions of employment of Registered Apprentices shall be and are governed entirely by the terms and conditions of this Agreement except as modified in 07.10.01 through and including 07.10.13. 07.10.01 The education, training and disciplining of Registered Apprentices shall be governed by the appropriate Joint Apprenticeship Committee and Standards: (1) Operating Engineers Apprenticeship Committee for the 46 Counties of Northern California; (2) Northern California Surveyors Joint Apprenticeship Committee.

Registered Apprentices. 9.1 Apprentices will be hired in the ratio stipulated by the Trades Qualification and Apprenticeship Act (April 2000, or as amended), and the rate of wages shall be: 1st year - 40% of the Journeyman’s rate; 2nd year - 50% of the Journeyman’s rate; 3rd year - 60% of the Journeyman’s rate; 4th year - 70% of the Journeyman’s rate; 5th year - 85% of the Journeyman’s rate and the associated Regulation 1073 ‘Plumber’ (Amended 7/02), and/or the associated Regulation 1079 ‘Steamfitter’ (1990), or in accordance with the Ontario College of Trades and Apprenticeship Act, 2009, when implemented. 9.2 Employer shall notify the Union when discharging any apprentice. 9.3 Employer to notify Union when apprentice is required to attend full-time school training. 9.4 A contractor who has laid off an apprentice prior to the expiry of his/her contract shall rehire a replacement if available comparable to the apprentice previously laid off. 9.5 The contractor is guaranteed on his request one (1) apprentice to every three (3) journeymen. The union shall supply registered apprentices with the qualifications and in sufficient numbers to meet the requirements of the contractor making the request. If the Union is unable to supply such apprentices within five (5) working days then the contractor involved may request the formation of a committee on two (2) working days notice made up of three (3) residential contractors and three (3) Local Union 46 Representatives in order to settle any differences. If differences cannot be resolved within seven (7) working days the issue shall go to the Joint Conference Board and shall follow the grievance procedure 9.6 To assure the industry of an adequate supply of properly trained and skilled mechanics, the Union agrees that there shall be a Joint Training Apprenticeship Committee to which the Mechanical Contractors’ Association Toronto and the Union shall each appoint six (6) representatives. This committee shall be responsible for: (a) An Apprenticeship Program under which the Local Apprenticeship standards shall be administered and also co-ordinated with the Trades Qualification and Apprenticeship Act (April 2000, or as amended), and the associated Regulation 1073 ‘Plumber’ (Amended 7/02), and/or the associated Regulation 1079 ‘Steamfitter’ (1990), or in accordance with the Ontario College of Trades and Apprenticeship Act, 2009, when implemented. and amendments thereto, and (b) A Journeyman Training Program under which advanced training programs...

Registered Apprentices. All contractors performing public work shall have the right to employ any apprentice registered in State-approved apprenticeship program in accordance with NRS 610 and agree to adhere to all the conditions of the registered standards approved by the Nevada State Apprenticeship Council.
Registered Apprentices. SEC 1. The Registered Apprentice Standards of the United Union of Roofers, Waterproofers and Allied Workers covered by this industry and presently registered with the Ohio State Apprenticeship Council will constitute the complete Agreement as to Apprentices.
