Registration Advisement. Each faculty member shall be obligated to provide six additional scheduled hours as coordinated by the department chairperson in support of student advisement events as organized by their academic department. In the event that coverage is needed for an advising event, the chairperson shall be permitted to assign a faculty member to attend the advisement event with at least 30 days advance notice.
Registration Advisement. Each faculty member shall be obligated to provide six scheduled hours of student advisement for the purpose of registration in the contract year. Slots will be assigned in the order in which the faculty sign up for available slots. The department chairperson in collaboration with the ▇▇▇▇ shall determine the number of slots for each advisement period based upon the needs of the registration event. By September 1, each department chairperson shall post in his/her office a sign-up sheet of available slots for advisement events for the purposes of registration. The schedule may be subject to change based on teaching assignments.
