Rehearsing Subsequent Engagement While in First Production. Where the Engager offers the Artist engaged for a production or productions a subsequent engagement as a Soloist which requires the Artist to participate in staging rehearsals for the subsequent engagement while performing or rehearsing in the first production(s), the Artist must be given the opportunity to negotiate compensation for such a subsequent engagement to the Artist’s satisfaction, which compensation shall, in no event, be less than the fee specified below per week in addition to the Artist’s weekly contractual fee while the Artist continues to perform or rehearse in the first production(s). 2016-2019 Minimum Fee $166.01 All such arrangements shall be contained in a rider to the original COA Engagement Contract. However, this Clause does not apply to subsequent engagements which are non-consecutive and where an unpaid hiatus occurs between the original and subsequent engagements.
