Reimbursement of Personal Belongings. The District shall reimburse employees for reasonable cost of clothing or other personal property damaged or destroyed as a result of an assault that occurs while the employee is acting in the discharge of his/her duties within the scope of his/her employment. The employee shall be responsible for establishing the relationship between the damage and performance of the employee’s responsibility before becoming eligible for reimbursement under this section. The total liability of the District for each occurrence shall be $400.00 less any amount reimbursed by insurance.
