False Claim. The City reserves the right to recoup benefit payments to any employee who is guilty of submitting a false claim, or abuse of the privileges covered in this section, or working for another employer while on injury leave, and may take disciplinary action.

False Claim. The Sub-recipient shall promptly refer to EPA’s Inspector General any credible evidence that a principal, employee, agent, Sub-recipient Contractor, subcontractor, grant recipient, or other person has submitted a false claim under the False Claims Act or has committed a criminal or civil violation of laws pertaining to fraud, conflict of interest, bribery, gratuity, or similar misconduct involving funds provided under this grant to the Sub-recipient. The Sub-recipient is advised that providing false, fictitious, or misleading information with respect to the receipt and disbursement of EPA grant funds may result in criminal, civil, or administrative fines and/or penalties.
False Claim. If You make a claim knowing it to be false or fraudulent in any respect, You will not be entitled to the benefit of coverage under the Policy, nor to the payment of any claim made under the Policy.

False Claim. The City has the right, and may if it so chooses, to investigate any/all injury leave before compensation is paid. Management reserves the right to withhold benefit payments or take disciplinary action, up to and including discharge, against an employee who is guilty of submitting a false claim for benefits covered in this Article or for working for another employer or engaging in self employment while on injury leave where:
a. such employment indicates an ability to perform the essential functions of his or her City position;
b. such employment is inconsistent with the convalescence from his or her injury or illness and would tend to either exacerbate the condition or delay his or her recovery; or
c. such employment occurs on any day on which the employee is normally scheduled to work for the City.
False Claim. No payment of salary or benefits will be made for an unauthorized absence, and/or abuse of sick leave benefits. An unauthorized absence and/or sick leave abuse may be considered as grounds for disciplinary action.
