Common use of Reinforced Concrete Pipe Clause in Contracts

Reinforced Concrete Pipe. When specified, and prior to manufacture of reinforced concrete pipe, the Design-Builder shall furnish to the Department a certification of the acceptability of the design of such pipe, as determined from a review that has been signed and sealed by a PE. Such certification shall cover all design data, supporting calculations, and materials. Pipe designs previously certified or approved by the Department will not require recertification.
