Common use of Reinstatement Work and Renovation Work Clause in Contracts

Reinstatement Work and Renovation Work. 11.1. When ceasing occupation of the Accommodation Unit at the end of the Resident’s residency, the Act requires the Resident to undertake or arrange Reinstatement Work. However, the Resident hereby irrevocably appoints the Scheme Operator as the Resident’s agent to undertake or arrange any Reinstatement Work on the Resident’s behalf and at the Resident’s cost, in lieu of the Resident undertaking or arranging that Reinstatement Work.
