Relationship Between Xxxx and Cooperating Agency. All cooperating agencies are entities separate and distinct from Xxxx. When contracting with a cooperating agency, Xxxx ensures that the cooperating agency is in compliance with applicable State licensing and regulatory requirements and engages in practices consistent with the Convention’s principles of furthering the best interests of the child. Further, Xxxx provides ongoing monitoring, oversight and supervision of the cooperating agency and the adoption services they are providing and facilitating to ensure com- pliance with Hague regulations. AP acknowledges and understands that no cooperating agency is an employee, contractor, branch, or affiliate of Xxxx, and that Xxxx has no control over the means or manner of the performance of the services provided by any cooperating agency.
