Release Time for Preparing Grievances. Time spent in preparation of a grievance shall not be on pay status except for release time used by Stewards in accordance with Article 32 – Union Stewards. A reasonable amount of time spent during scheduled work hours in investigation of a grievance prior to formal filing shall be granted on pay status, subject to notice and approval of the employee(s)' supervisor.
