Release Time for University-Supported Activities. With advance notice to and approval by their xxxx or department director, employees may be permitted to use limited amounts of paid work time to participate in University-related or sponsored activities not directly related to their primary duties, such as serving as a guest speaker or presenter in a course/program, or assisting faculty with research or other academic needs. Any such activities must be conducted in a manner that does not interfere with University operations.
