Common use of Reliance on Notice of Appointment Clause in Contracts

Reliance on Notice of Appointment. The Contractor may treat any notice given pursuant to clause 6.11 (Project Director to give Notice of Appointment of Authorised Officer) as conclusive evidence of the lawful appointment of such Authorised Officer until such time as the Project Director notifies the Contractor of the revocation of such appointment and the Contractor may treat any act of the Authorised Officer prior to receipt of such notice of revocation as being expressly authorised by the Project Director and further the Contractor shall not be required to determine whether any such authority has in fact or in law been given.
