Common use of Religious Exemptions Clause in Contracts

Religious Exemptions. Any employee who demonstrates in a manner satisfactory to the Union that he or she is a member of a bona fide religion, body, or sect which has historically held conscientious objections to joining or financially supporting public employee organizations shall be excused from joining the Union or paying an agency fee to the Union, if such employee shall make a Qualified Charitable Contribution at the time and manner hereinafter prescribed:
