Religious Harassment - Definition. Religious harassment consists of physical or verbal conduct which is related to an individual's religion when the conduct: 1. Has the purpose or effect of creating an intimidating, hostile or offensive working or academic environment; 2. Has the purpose or effect of substantially or unreasonably interfering with an individual's work or academic performance; or 3. Otherwise adversely affects an individual's employment or academic opportunities.

  • Definition of Grievance A grievance shall be defined as any difference arising out of the interpretation, application, administration, or alleged violation of the Collective Agreement.

  • Prohibition on Use of Public Funds for Political Activity In performing the Services, Contractor shall comply with San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 12G, which prohibits funds appropriated by the City for this Agreement from being expended to participate in, support, or attempt to influence any political campaign for a candidate or for a ballot measure. Contractor is subject to the enforcement and penalty provisions in Chapter 12G.

  • DELETE IN ITS ENTIRETY AND REPLACE WITH THE FOLLOWING In the event of a bona fide sale or transfer of any store covered by this Agreement during the period hereof, the new owner of such transferee shall be notified of the existence of this Agreement. The former owner shall be required to meet any and all monetary benefits that employees have accumulated under this Agreement, but, except as provided in this Article, shall have no further or other obligations whatsoever, notwithstanding any other provision to the contrary in the Agreement.
