Common use of Religious Observations Clause in Contracts

Religious Observations. a. If an employee has a religious affiliation which requires the observance of a religious holiday which falls on a working day and the obligation cannot be met outside the work day, said employee shall be granted leave for such observance. b. Said leave will be with pay, and, in no case, shall total usage of said leave exceed two (2) days per school year. c. Arrangements must be made with the building principal at least ten (10) school days prior to such leave being taken.
