Remaining Provisions of § 1614. Except as expressly provided in this Agreement, the parties agree that the provisions of § 1614 of the Act and the Rules and Regulations of the Board shall govern the resolution of any bargaining impasses and any arbitration proceedings that may occur over the negotiations for a successor agreement. To the extent there is any conflict between the provisions of this Agreement and § 1614 and/or the Rules and Regulations of the Board, it is the parties’ express intent that the provisions of this Agreement shall prevail.

  • PROVISIONS OF LAW AND SEPARABILITY It is understood and agreed that this MOU is subject to all applicable Federal and State laws, City ordinances and regulations, the Charter of the City of Los Angeles, and any lawful rules and regulations enacted by the City's Civil Service Commission or the XXX.
