Common use of Removal Action Work Plan Clause in Contracts

Removal Action Work Plan. If DTSC determines a removal action is appropriate, Proponent will prepare a Removal Action Work Plan (RAW) in accordance with Health and Safety Code sections 25323.1 and 25356.1. The Removal Action Work Plan will include: • A description of the onsite contamination; • The goals to be achieved by the removal action; • An analysis of the alternative options considered and rejected and the basis for that rejection. This should include a discussion for each alternative which covers its effectiveness, implementability and cost; • A description of the recommended alternative (including any required land use covenants, financial assurance, and operation and maintenance plan and agreement requirements). • Administrative record list; • Sampling and Analysis Plan with corresponding Quality Assurance Plan to confirm the effectiveness of the RAW, if applicable; and • Health and Safety Plan describing methods that will be employed during the removal action to ensure the health and safety of workers and the public during the removal action. A detailed community air monitoring plan shall be included if requested by DTSC.
