Common use of Remuneration for Grievance Meetings Clause in Contracts

Remuneration for Grievance Meetings. ‌ The Stewards shall be compensated for attending pre-approved meetings or teleconferences involving the Employer, the purpose of which is the adjustment of grievances. The total maximum amount paid to the Union for this purpose in any one (1) year shall be as per Appendix A (Wage Schedule Union Remuneration Fund). Any Union Remuneration funds not spent will be carried over into the next year.
