Common use of Renewal of Employment Contract Clause in Contracts

Renewal of Employment Contract. Provided the established goals and objectives have been accomplished by Mr. Xxxxxxx and provided the evaluation and assessment of the performance of Mr. Xxxxxxx is satisfactory, the Board of Trustees of the School Corporation shall extend Mr. Xxxxxxx’s employment contract a minimum of one (1) additional year, not later than the regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the School Corporation in June of each year. If the Board of Trustees of the School Corporation does not desire to extend the contract of Mr. Xxxxxxx, Mr. Xxxxxxx shall be notified, in writing, not later than June 30 of that year. The failure of the Board of Trustees to notify Mr. Xxxxxxx, in writing, shall be deemed to extend the employment contract for one (1) additional year.
