RENTER’S ACTIVITIES. Renter agrees to conduct Renter’s activities upon the Premises so as not to endanger any person lawfully thereon and agrees not to put up or operate any engine or motor or machinery on the Premises, or use oils, burning fluids, camphene, kerosene, naphtha, or gasoline for either mechanical or other purposes or use any agent other than electricity for illuminating the Premises, unless the University’s Production Director (“PD”) has specifically previously approved the same in writing. Renter shall not do, or permit to be done, upon the Premises anything that will tend to injure, mar, or in any manner deface said Premises, and will not drive or install, or permit to be driven or installed, any nails, hooks, tacks, or screws into any part of the Premises or the Building.

  • Sectarian Activities Subrecipient certifies that this Contract does not aid or advance any religious sect, church or creed for a purpose that is sectarian in nature, nor does it help to support or sustain any school, college, university, hospital or other institution controlled by any religious creed, church, or sectarian denomination.

Neither the Partnership nor any of the Limited Partners shall have any rights by virtue of this Agreement in any such business ventures, interest or activities. None of the Limited Partners nor any other Person shall have any rights by virtue of this Agreement or the partnership relationship established hereby in any such business ventures, interests or activities, and the General Partner shall have no obligation pursuant to this Agreement to offer any interest in any such business ventures, interests and activities to the Partnership or any Limited Partner, even if such opportunity is of a character which, if presented to the Partnership or any Limited Partner, could be taken by such Person.

  • Marketing Activities The Borrower will not, and will not permit any of its Subsidiaries to, engage in marketing activities for any Hydrocarbons or enter into any contracts related thereto other than (i) contracts for the sale of Hydrocarbons scheduled or reasonably estimated to be produced from their proved Oil and Gas Properties during the period of such contract, (ii) contracts for the sale of Hydrocarbons scheduled or reasonably estimated to be produced from proved Oil and Gas Properties of third parties during the period of such contract associated with the Oil and Gas Properties of the Borrower and its Subsidiaries that the Borrower or one of its Subsidiaries has the right to market pursuant to joint operating agreements, unitization agreements or other similar contracts that are usual and customary in the oil and gas business and (iii) other contracts for the purchase and/or sale of Hydrocarbons of third parties (A) which have generally offsetting provisions (i.e. corresponding pricing mechanics, delivery dates and points and volumes) such that no “position” is taken and (B) for which appropriate credit support has been taken to alleviate the material credit risks of the counterparty thereto.

  • Other Activities Your services pursuant to this Agreement shall not be deemed to be exclusive, and you may render similar services and act as an underwriter, distributor or dealer for other investment companies in the offering of their shares.
