Common use of – REPAIR, REPLACEMENT OR ADJUSTMENT OF CLOTHING AND/OR Clause in Contracts

– REPAIR, REPLACEMENT OR ADJUSTMENT OF CLOTHING AND/OR. EQUIPMENT Any uniform, clothing, or equipment belonging to the employee damaged, stolen, or ruined in the performance of duty by an employee shall be repaired, replaced or adjustment made by the Employer; provided however, such provision shall not apply should the damage be occasioned by or due to the carelessness or negligence of the employee. In order to qualify for such repair, replacement or adjustment, the employee shall immediately notify their supervisor who will obtain a statement from the employee and witnesses, if any. The statements and a recommendation by the supervisor shall be forwarded to the Department Head who will make a recommendation to the Finance Director.
