Common use of REPORTING CONVICTIONS Clause in Contracts

REPORTING CONVICTIONS. In compliance with Federal law (Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988), if the Township receives a Federal grant or does contract work with the Federal government of at least $100,000 / year the Employees will be responsible for following: Any Employee who is convicted under any federal or state criminal drug statute for a violation occurring in the workplace or occurring while conducting Township business must report the conviction to the Township within five (5) days of the conviction. NOTE: Violations of this Program will not be reported to law enforcement officials unless required by a regulatory body or provision of law.
